I knew it was time to separate my wedding work from my commercial and personal work. Having everything all on one website was just not obvious or clear enough for couples looking for a wedding photographer. These people are browsing through hundreds of different websites looking for potential vendors, so you can never make things easy enough for them.

In this fast paced world that we live in, putting somebody in the position of having to make an effort to view your work is most likely going to result in them clicking on the dreaded 'X' button. You need to get to the point within seconds of them landing on your page. If you don't engage your audience, then they will simply move on to somebody who can.

Taking the above into account, I set myself the task of creating a wedding specific brand. What I didn't envision, however, was that I wouldn't actually be doing it alone. After shooting together and realising just how well we work as a team, Martyn Roper and I decided to merge our wedding photography businesses and within a couple of weeks of making this decision, Fox & Owl was created.

Martyn has over seven years experience in the wedding industry, both as a wedding photographer and as a musician. This, along with my unique and contemporary photographic and design style, proved to be the perfect combination.

We're very excited to be officially launching Fox & Owl with A Most Curious Wedding Fair on Brick Lane in March.
