A Most Curious Launch
Hello! Chloé here. Thanks to all that came and made A Most Curious Wedding Fair SS16 so wonderful. I met some truly amazing people and had the honour of exhibiting alongside over 120 exceptionally talented vendors who were so full of love.
Below are some photographs from the weekend.
#AMCWF light up letters by Doris Loves
The Fox & Owl stand.
Most Curious fashion shows are rather special.
Models—Natalie Nwagbo, Helen Lloyd.
Stylists—Eimear O'Reilly, Luke Reene.
Bridalwear—SHEHURINA, Heavenly Headdress.
Wonderful hair styling by RM Hair & Makeup.
Love love love these intricate hand crafted paper florals from the ever so talented Things by Laura.
I've quietly admired India's (Vervain's) work for a long time so it was delightful to finally get to see it in person. It really is quite beautiful.
The next stand along from ours was the incredibly cool geo-fleur with their bespoke botanical beauty. It's any plant lovers heaven!
Vibrant, colourful floral displays from a very bonny lady. I just love Harriet Parry's miniature posy paintings and the flowerbed of faux (would you believe it?) flower hair clips.
More beautiful blooms. This time from the lovely sisters; Rebecca and Amy of Ivy Pip & Rose.
I found this magical lady in her natural habitat; the delightful Fiona of Electric Daisy Flower Farm.
This is the wonderful and ever so beautiful Joey from The Wild Fox. She helped me decorate my stand and adorned me with flowers. I fell completely in love with her earthy, ethereal floral design. It has such a sense of timelessness to it.
Striking geometric pajaki (traditional Polish chandeliers). This contemporary installation was handmade with rye straws and thistles by the charming Karolina of bobbin & bow.
If you think that these little terrariums by Kensington Lane look good enough to eat... that's because they are! A lovely idea for alternative table favours and centrepieces.
Matching cake and stationary design by Jemima at Mimolo Design—it's all so dainty and pretty.
Jolly stationary design by the oh so lovely Katie of Oh Squirrel.
Victoria and Chi of Nia Rose Photography are two of the loveliest people I've ever met. I wish I had taken a proper photograph of them over the weekend. Here they are stood chatting to the also very pleasant Pedro Portela by their exhibition stand.
Here's Dana Dallal Bridal with a pretty Pop Pop Papier balloon that is almost bigger than her. Dana was one of my stand neighbours during the show. Her work is incredible and she is a beautiful person inside and out. I can't wait for her to come up to visit us in Leeds.
Flower crown, floral arrangement and hanging ferns by The Wild Fox + umbrella ferns from Electric Daisy Flower Farm. Thank you both.
As if saying goodbye to everybody wasn't emotional enough, India (Vervain) then ran over with a little bouquet and a hug before she left. I cannot even begin to explain how friendly everybody at Most Curious was.
So much love.
